We held our first national training weekend of 2015 in Lough Mohra in the Comeragh mountains. There was a heavy fog on the mountains on Saturday which made it impossible for our trainers to observe the dog teams searching their areas, so we dropped down into a area in the woods. All the dog teams did 2 searches in a old felled area with new trees. It was tough going for both dogs and handlers; we finished up at 6pm. On Sunday, there was a contrast in the weather with the mountain in sunshine and fog in the valleys so the dog teams did an area around Lough Mohra. Thanks to all for travelling and a special thanks to our ‘dogsbodies’ Jörn, John 1, John 2 and sub Simon for hiding for the dogs to find.
